Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 500 g beef fillet
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 plum tomatoes
- 500 g whole wheat tagliatelle
- Salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 100 ml red wine
- 200 g passata
- 100 g ajvar (pepper paste)
- black pepper (freshly ground)

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces. Wash, core, and cut the bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Blanch the tomatoes, cool, peel, and roughly cube them. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente.

Brown the beef in hot oil. Add onions and garlic and sauté. Add the bell pepper pieces and continue to cook. Deglaze with wine, pour in the passata, stir in the ajvar, season with salt and pepper, and gently fold in the tomato cubes. Drain the pasta and serve with the sauce in deep bowls.
