Ingredients

  • 600 g beef fillet (pre‑cooked)
  • 2 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • soy sauce
  • soy oil
  • rice wine
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Sambal oelek
  • 300 g carrots
  • 300 g Sugar snap peas
  • 150 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp lightly toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp liquid honey

Instructions

    Wash the beef, pat dry, trim and slice into thin strips. Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Mix with 3 tbsp soy sauce, 4 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp rice wine, salt, and Sambal Oelek; marinate for 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile peel the carrots and cut into sticks. Wash, trim, and slice the sugar snap peas. Remove the beef from the marinade and sear in 1 tbsp hot oil in a wok in batches. Set aside. Add the vegetables to the wok, stir‑fry occasionally. Pour in the broth and simmer over medium heat for about 4 minutes. Return the beef, give it a quick stir, season with the remaining marinade. Sprinkle sesame seeds, add honey, stir well, and serve immediately.
