Ingredients

  • 450 g beef fillet (sliced thinly)
  • 5 tbsp sake
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 chili peppers (finely chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 stalk lemongrass (finely sliced)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 150 g sugar snap peas
  • 150 g corn kernels
  • 5 pancakes from the previous day torn into rough pieces
  • sesame oil
  • 200 g soy sprouts
  • Thai basil
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • lime juice to taste

Instructions

    Mix beef fillet with sake, soy sauce and cornstarch. Marinate for about 1 hour.

    Sauté lemongrass, garlic and chilies in 4 tbsp oil over high heat while stirring. Gradually add the meat, vegetables, pancakes and soy sprouts and cook. Season with a handful of Thai basil, fish sauce and lime juice.
