Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 400 g white cabbage
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 bulb fennel
  • 300 g beef fillet
  • peanut oil (for frying)
  • chili powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • sweet-spicy chili sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds (optional)
  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley

Instructions

    Wash all vegetables, peel and trim as needed. Slice carrots into rounds then thin strips. Remove the core from white cabbage and cut leaves into fine strips. Quarter the onions. Halve the fennel bulb, remove the core and slice into fine strips.

    Cut the beef fillet into approximately 1 cm wide strips.

    Heat a little oil in a wok pan and stir-fry carrots with white cabbage for about 3 minutes, then push to the side. Add onions and fennel one after another, each for about 3 minutes, pushing them aside. Finally sear the meat all around, gently mix everything together and season with spices. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
