The Bear Garlic Oil by Spoonsparrow is quickly prepared and perfect as a kitchen gift.

Ingredients

  • 125 g fresh bear garlic leaves
  • 750 ml cold-pressed oil to taste (sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, olive oil)

Instructions

    Wash the bear garlic, remove stems, pat dry and place in a clean, dry bottle. Pour the oil over it, seal the bottle and let steep for about 2 weeks.

    Then strain the oil through a fine sieve into a clean bottle. If desired, add 2-3 clean, dry bear garlic leaves. The oil keeps well for about 4 weeks.
