Bean Salad with Tuna

We love beans! We love tuna! That's why the bean salad with tuna from Spoonsparrow comes right on time.
Ingredients
- 250 g green beans
- Salt
- 250 g white beans (canned; drained weight)
- 1 Red Onion
- 200 g Cherry tomatoes
- 50 g pitted black olives
- Pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 500 g tuna fillet (pre‑cooked, skinless)

Wash and trim the green beans, then blanch in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Drain, shock with cold water, and let dry well. Drain the white beans, rinse them in a sieve, and allow to drain thoroughly. Peel and halve the onion, slicing it into thin strips. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Combine the beans, onion, tomatoes, and olives. Season with salt, pepper, 2 tbsp olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl. Pat the tuna dry, cut into 2 cm cubes, then sear briefly in a hot pan with 2 tbsp oil until just browned on all sides; season and remove. Gently fold the tuna into the bean salad and serve in bowls.
