Ingredients

  • 400 g white beans (canned)
  • 400 g kidney beans (canned)
  • 400 g Green Beans
  • 400 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 6 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Sambal oelek
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

    Drain canned beans in a sieve, rinse and let drain.

    Wash green beans, trim ends, blanch in salted water for about 4 minutes, shock in cold water, drain and cut into ~3 cm diagonal pieces. Mix with washed, halved tomatoes and lemon juice; distribute onto bowls.

    Whisk barbecue sauce with ginger, honey, sambal oelek, and soy sauce; pour over beans.

    Serve with crissini as desired.
