Ingredients

  • 4 onions
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 old-fashioned pretzels
  • 1 l meat broth
  • nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • chive rolls for garnish

Instructions

    Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Gently brown them in hot clarified butter until golden.

    Grate salt over the pretzels and cut them into thin slices. Distribute the sliced pretzels and onion rings among four bowls.

    Bring the broth to a boil. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper, then pour it over the pretzel and onion mixture. Sprinkle with chives before serving.

    Serve with radishes on the side as desired.
