The Bavarian meat patties from Spoonsparrow are quick to prepare and always a big hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 old-fashioned whole wheat roll
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 600 g ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp sharp mustard
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Soak the roll in lukewarm water. Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté it in 1 tbsp oil until translucent. Add the parsley and mix through. Knead the ground beef with the egg, mustard, well‑squeezed roll, onion mixture, salt, and pepper, then shape into patties. Fry the patties in a hot pan with oil until golden brown on all sides, reduce heat, and let them finish cooking.
