The Bavarian grated dumplings of Spoonsparrow are the perfect side dish when lunch needs a hearty touch.
Ingredients
- 4 rolls
- 125 ml Milk (1.5% fat)
- 1 kg raw potatoes
- 500 g cooked potatoes
- Salt

Pour hot milk over the rolls. Peel, wash, and grate the potatoes. Squeeze out excess liquid with a kitchen towel. Mix well with the mashed cooked potatoes and softened rolls. Season with salt. Shape dumplings with damp hands. Drop them into boiling salted water. Let them cook until they rise to the surface; they are done after about 15 minutes.
