Ingredients
- 100 g wheat flour
- 100 g whole grain flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 130 g butter
- 100 g basil
- 5 eggs
- 250 g sour cream
- 40 g freshly grated Parmesan
- 75 ml whipping cream
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- flour (for the work surface)
- butter (for the pan)
- basil (for garnish)
Instructions
-
1.
Mix the two flours with the salt, sift onto a work surface, create a well in the center, crack the egg into it and scatter butter pieces around the well. Roughly chop all ingredients with a knife and quickly knead them by hand into a smooth dough. Shape into a ball and wrap in cling film; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-
2.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat.
-
3.
Rinse the basil, dry it, and finely chop the leaves. Beat the eggs with sour cream, parmesan, and whipping cream, fold in the basil, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
-
4.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface slightly larger than the pan, line a greased tart tin with it. Spread the basil mixture over the crust and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes.
-
5.
Remove the finished tart from the oven, let it cool, slice into pieces, and serve garnished with fresh basil leaves.
