Basil chicken with snow peas can be prepared easily and tastes great for dinner, lunch, and is perfect for takeout.

Ingredients
- 400 g snow peas
- Salt
- 600 g skinless pre-cooked chicken breast fillets
- 2 stalks basil
- 2 Spring Onions
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 250 ml buttermilk
- pepper (ground)
Instructions

Wash, trim, and cut the peas diagonally in half. Blanch them in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes. Drain, shock with cold water, and let drain well.

Rinse the chicken, pat dry, and slice into thin strips.

Wash the basil, shake off excess moisture, pluck the leaves, and finely chop.

Trim the spring onions and cut them diagonally into thin rings.

Heat oil in a pan and brown the chicken strips all around. Add the spring onions and peas, sauté briefly, then pour in buttermilk. Reduce heat, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir in basil, taste, and serve.
