Ingredients

  • 1 large iceberg lettuce
  • 2 large oranges
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 100 ml Buttermilk
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped mint
  • 600 g plaice fillets (4 fillets)
  • pepper (ground)
  • 140 ml orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Sour cream
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.

Clean and wash the lettuce, then tear into bite-sized pieces. Peel the oranges and cut the fruit flesh into small cubes. Mix both in a bowl.

  2. 2.

Whisk 1 tbsp oil with vinegar, buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Combine with the salad and sprinkle with mint.

  3. 3.

Season the plaice fillets with salt and pepper. In the remaining hot oil, cook in a non-stick pan over medium heat for 3–4 minutes on each side. Remove the fish; deglaze the pan with orange juice, stir in sour cream, and season with cayenne pepper. Serve the fillets with sauce and salad.
