The fruit salad with fennel from Spoonsparrow brings plenty of vitamins to the plate – a perfect start to the day!

Ingredients

  • 1 head large fennel
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 oranges
  • 150 ml buttermilk
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower seeds

Instructions

    Wash the fennel, quarter it lengthwise, remove the core and slice into strips, setting aside some of the green. Peel the banana and oranges. Cut everything into bite‑sized pieces.

    Whisk together buttermilk, salt, pepper, and honey. Pour over the fruit salad, mix well, and let chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Toast sunflower seeds in a dry pan without oil.
