Banana Skewers

The banana skewers with chocolate coating from Spoonsparrow are a vegan dessert for chocolate lovers!

Ingredients

  • 80 g vegan dark chocolate
  • 50 g unsalted peanuts
  • 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 small organic lime
  • 4 baby bananas

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the chocolate, place in a bowl and melt it over a warm water bath or in the microwave.

    Finely chop the peanuts with a large knife or a food processor. Roast them with the oil in a non‑stick pan until they lightly brown, then let cool.

    Meanwhile cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice.

  4. 4.

    Peel the bananas, rub them with lime juice, and skewer them.

  5. 5.

    Dip half of each skewer into the melted chocolate and immediately sprinkle with peanuts. Let the chocolate set before serving.
