Ingredients

  • 4 trout (ready to cook, headless, about 300 g)
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 tsp capers (jar)
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 4 tsp olive oil

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat.

    Wash the trout, pat dry, season inside and out with salt and pepper, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Rinse the lemon under hot water, pat dry, slice into thin rounds. Peel half of the garlic cloves and slice thinly; crush the remaining garlic. Peel and finely chop the shallot.

    Distribute the garlic slices, capers, and parsley over the fish, add the lemon slices and crushed garlic, then drizzle with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
