Baked Tortellini

Baked tortellini from Spoonsparrow are a hit with the whole family and convince with purely vegetarian ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (+ some for the dish)
  • 500 g passata
  • 200 g peas (freshly shelled or frozen and thawed)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 500 g vegetarian whole wheat tortelloni (ready-made from the refrigerated section)
  • 150 g grated mozzarella (9% fat)

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a pot. Sauté the diced onion and garlic over medium heat for 2 minutes.

    Add the tomatoes and peas, bring to a boil briefly and season the sauce with a pinch of salt, pepper and paprika powder.

    Grease a baking dish with oil. Place the tortelloni in it, pour over the sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan, Gas: mark 2-3) for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Cut the baked tortellini into pieces and distribute them on plates.
