Ingredients

  • fresh oregano
  • 125 g mozzarella (1 ball)
  • 3 white bread slices
  • 50 g Parma ham (thinly sliced)
  • 50 g parmesan (fresh grated)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp butter

Instructions

    Cut oregano leaves into strips. Slice the mozzarella thin.

    Layer each of the three bread slices first with ham, then with mozzarella and oregano, top with another white bread slice and press down.

    Whisk the eggs in a shallow bowl and fold in the parmesan. Dip each loaf in the egg mixture, allowing it to soak slightly. Remove and coat several times in breadcrumbs.
