Ingredients

  • 4 firm juicy pears (e.g., Alexander Lucas, Williams or Forelle)
  • 0.5 lemon (juice)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 80 g Roquefort
  • 50 g walnut kernels
  • pepper (ground)

Instructions

    Wash the pears, halve them, remove the cores and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Mix lemon juice with honey and brush the pear halves with it.

    Remove the thyme leaves from the stems. Chop half of them finely.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) fan‑fry setting.

    Chop the walnuts, crumble the Roquefort and mix with chopped thyme. Fill the pear cavities, season lightly with pepper and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown.

    Serve garnished with the remaining thyme.
