Baked Pasta Skillet with Mushrooms, Eggs, and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 400 g spiral pasta
  • Salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 g Mushrooms
  • 1 bundle chives
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • pepper (ground)
  • 150 g grated Bergkäse

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (Oven rack in the middle).

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente.

    Hard boil the eggs for about 10 minutes, then cool under cold running water and peel them. Rub the mushrooms with a kitchen towel, remove the stems, and slice them thinly. Wash the chives, shake dry, and cut into rings. Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the mushrooms. Add the broth, bring to a boil once, stir in the crème fraîche, and season with salt and pepper. Slice two eggs and chop the remaining ones. Mix the pasta with the mushroom sauce, half of the cheese, and the chopped eggs; fold in the chives. Transfer to a baking dish, top with the remaining cheese and egg slices. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown, then serve hot.
