Baked Gooseberries for the Thermomix®

Spoonsparrow’s baked gooseberries for the Thermomix are always fruitfully delicious.

Ingredients

  • 50 g Butter (room temperature)
  • 50 g cane sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 600 g apricots
  • 200 g gooseberries
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • liquid sweetener

Instructions

    Add room-temperature butter, sugar, flour and 1 tsp cinnamon to the mixing bowl and blend for 30 s on speed 5. Set crumble aside.

    Wash, halve, pit and slice apricots into wedges. Wash gooseberries and remove stems.

  3. 3.

    Split vanilla pod lengthwise with a knife and scrape out the seeds.

  4. 4.

    Mix fruits with vanilla seeds, season with liquid sweetener and spread in a baking dish.

  5. 5.

    Sprinkle crumble over the top and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan‑forced 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) on the second rack from the bottom for 25 minutes. Serve lukewarm.
