Baked Cherry Tomatoes with Basil

Ingredients
- 1 kg cherry tomatoes
- 0.5 Bundle Basil
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions

Wash the tomatoes, remove stems and pierce the skin 2–3 times with a needle each.

Wash the basil, shake dry and pluck leaves off stems.

Fill four jars with tomatoes and sprinkle salt over them. Add water until it is 3 cm below the jar rim and seal the jars. Place a kitchen towel on a deep baking sheet and set the jars on top.

Add 2 cm of water to the baking sheet and bake in the oven. Set the oven to 125 °C and simmer the jars for about 50 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the jars cool inside.

Remove the jars from the oven, open them carefully, and serve the tomatoes warm or at room temperature.
