Bake Panettone

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 100 g sugar
- 0.125 l milk
- 5 egg yolks
- 200 g margarine
- 1 tbsp organic lemon zest
- 100 g candied lemon peel
- 100 g candied orange peel
- 100 g cherry preserves
- 100 g raisins
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp cloves
- baking paper
- aluminum foil
- flour (for shaping)
- butter (for greasing)
- powdered sugar
Instructions

1) Mix flour with sugar, spices, lemon zest and dry yeast.

2) Add butter pieces, warm milk and egg yolks.

3) Knead into a smooth dough.

4) Shape into a ball and cover to rest for about 1 hour.

5) Meanwhile dice candied lemon peel, orange peel and cherry preserves.

6) If no panettone mold, grease a round baking dish (Ø 20 cm) and raise the rim with aluminum foil. Secure ends with a paper clip. Grease the dish and dust with flour.

7) Mix candied peels, cherries and raisins. Place dough on floured surface and flatten slightly. Spread fruit mixture over it.

8) Fold once together and knead again on floured surface.

9) Put finished dough into the mold and rest another 30 minutes.

10) Score the surface crosswise and bake in preheated oven at 200 °C for about 45‑55 minutes.

11) Dust cooled panettone with powdered sugar and serve sliced.
