Baby Meatballs

Spoonsparrow baby meatballs deliver plenty of protein, iron, healthy fats and vitamins – perfect for little adventurers with high energy needs.

Ingredients

  • 140 g frozen spinach
  • 4 stems basil
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 60 g ground flaxseed
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder

Instructions

    Let the spinach thaw and squeeze out excess liquid, then finely chop.

    Wash the basil, shake dry and finely mince.

  3. 3.

    Combine spinach, ground beef, flaxseed, egg, basil, garlic and onion powders in a bowl, mix well and mash with a fork.

  4. 4.

    Shape about 20 finger‑shaped small patties from the mixture and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  5. 5.

    Bake the baby meatballs in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
