Avocado Cream with Bell Pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 Hass avocados
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes Tabasco
  • Salt

Instructions

    Wash the bell pepper, halve it and remove the seeds. Carefully peel off the outer skin with a vegetable peeler and dice the flesh into fine cubes.

    Peel the garlic and press it through a press. Halve the avocados, remove the pits and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Puree with a fork or immersion blender and season with garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. Taste and add salt.

    Refrigerate the avocado cream until ready to serve. Cover the surface tightly with a piece of cling film so no air remains between the film and the cream. Just before serving remove the film, stir the cream and sprinkle with the bell pepper cubes.
