Ingredients
- 300 g potatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 40 g Black olives
- 1 tbsp basil in olive oil (jar), or basil pesto
- Salt
- ground pepper

Cook potatoes with skin in about 25 minutes of salted water. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and onion, then sauté them in olive oil until translucent. Pit and finely chop the olives. Drain the hot potatoes, peel while still warm, and press through a potato masher. Mix the mashed potatoes with the sautéed onions, olives, basil, salt, and pepper.
