Apples with Chocolate Glaze

Ingredients

  • 4 small apples
  • 50 g hazelnut kernels
  • 50 g whole almond kernels
  • 150 g full milk chocolate

Instructions

    Wash the apples hot, dry them and twist off the stems. Instead of stems, insert about 12 cm long dried branches (preferably apple twigs).

    Coarsely chop the hazelnuts and almonds. Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it over a double boiler. Dip the apples to about three‑quarters height or swirl them in the chocolate. Roll the coated apples in the nut mixture and let them cool on parchment paper.
