- 750 g apples
- 500 g pears
- Lemon juice
- 6 eggs (size M)
- 200 g sugar
- 250 g soft butter
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- 400 g flour
- 50 g starch
- 1 packet baking powder
- 100 g sliced almonds
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Quarter the apples and pears, remove cores, peel, and slice quarters crosswise into thin slices. Mix with lemon juice.

Separate 2 eggs. Beat egg whites stiff, letting in 50 g sugar. Cream butter. Gradually fold in whole eggs, yolks (2), and vanilla sugar. Sift flour with starch and baking powder; add by spoonfuls to batter, then fold in beaten whites. Fold in apple and pear pieces.
