Ingredients

  • 250 g spelt flour (Type 1050)
  • 500 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 apples (e.g., Jonagold or Royal Gala)
  • 4 tsp butter (for frying)
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

    Whisk the flour with milk and salt until smooth. Split the vanilla pod, scrape out the seeds with a knife edge and add them to the mixture. Fold in the eggs and let everything rest for about 10 minutes.

    Wash or peel the apples, remove the core, and slice the fruit into thin rounds.
