Apple-Marzipan Crumble

- 8 tart apples (e.g., Boskop)
- 400 g marzipan base
- 200 g sliced almonds
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon

Wash, peel, halve, core, and cut the apples into wedges. Rinse the lemon hot, dry it, then squeeze out its juice. Drizzle the apple wedges with lemon juice. Roughly crumble the marzipan base. Finely chop the orange zest. Then mix the marzipan pieces, sliced almonds, and zest together without kneading.

Fill a baking dish or eight small oven‑proof ramekins with the apple wedges. Evenly spread the marzipan crumbs over them.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan: 180 °C, gas: level 2–3) for about 30 minutes until the surface turns golden brown. Remove the Apple-Marzipan Crumble from the oven, let it cool briefly, and dust with powdered sugar.
