Ingredients
- 4 sweet-sour apples
- 100 g sugar
- 300 ml cider
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3 star anise
- 150 ml rum
Instructions

Wash the apples, halve them, remove the core and dice into small cubes. In a pot caramelize the sugar, then deglaze with 350 ml water and the cider.

Add the diced apples, cinnamon sticks, and star anise; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to very low and simmer for about 30 minutes. Finally add the rum and serve warm or cold as desired.
