Apple Cake with Egg Glaze

Ingredients
- 150 g flour
- 0.5 packet Baking powder
- 40 g powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 75 g quark
- 2 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 kg apples (4 pieces)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 100 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 0.125 l whipping cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; pile onto the work surface, make a well in the center and add the quark.

Add the oil.

Knead with hands into a smooth dough.

Roll out the dough thinly.

Line the pan with the dough. Preheat the oven.

Peel the apples, quarter them and drizzle with lemon juice.

Remove the core from each apple quarter.

Place the apple quarters on a board with the curve facing up; cut lengthwise several times with a knife, but do not cut through.

Cover the dough with the apple quarters.

Whisk together eggs, sugar and cream in a bowl.

Pour the egg mixture over the apples, tap the pan slightly and bake on the middle rack for about 30 minutes.
