Almond Muffins

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp cloves
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 70 g finely chopped almond kernels
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp sodium bicarbonate
  • 1 egg
  • 120 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 300 g sour cream
  • small paper cups

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

    Mix the flour with the spices, almonds, baking powder and sodium bicarbonate. Lightly whisk the egg. Add the sugar, softened butter and sour cream and mix well. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir only until the dry ingredients are moist. Spoon the batter into the paper cups using two spoons, place on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Let the muffins cool in the paper cups and fill them into small bags for gifting.
