Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • bitter almond flavoring
  • 300 g flour
  • 30 whole almonds (hulled)
  • 30 glazed cherries

Instructions

    Gently melt the butter. Mix in the sugar, bitter almond flavoring and flour to form a dough. Shape the dough into 30 small balls, flatten slightly and decorate each with one almond and one cherry.

    Place the cookies on parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 10–15 minutes until golden yellow.
