Almond Cookies

Ingredients

  • 375 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 1 Egg white
  • 120 g ground almonds
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp almond syrup
  • water
  • 150 g almond sticks

Instructions

    Knead flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, butter pieces, egg white and ground almonds into a ball; wrap in plastic film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Roll dough to about 0.7 cm thickness on a floured surface. Cut rectangles with a pastry wheel, place cookies on parchment-lined tray, bake at 180°C for about 12 minutes. Remove and cool.
