A creamy dessert made with fresh berries and a delicate egg yolk custard.

Ingredients

  • 300 g mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, and blackcurrants)
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 60 g sugar
  • 125 ml Marsala wine

Instructions

    Rinse the berries, pat dry, and clean. Cut strawberries into small pieces; remove stems from blackcurrants. Divide the berries among four glasses.

    Whisk the egg yolks and sugar with a whisk until frothy. Place over a hot water bath and stir until the mixture becomes white and creamy. Gradually add Marsala wine (do not let it get too hot). Remove from heat, stir briefly more, then pour into the glasses.
