Ingredients
- 1 glass of sour cherries (drained weight ~360 g)
- 300 g yogurt
- 100 g low‑fat quark
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch lemon zest (unprocessed)
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (more to taste)
- fresh cherries for garnish

Drain the cherries and catch the juice. In a bowl whisk together the yogurt, quark, 3–4 tbsp cherry juice, lemon juice, lemon zest, cinnamon, and maple syrup until smooth. Taste and sweeten as needed. Fold in the cherries and divide among four glasses. Garnish with fresh cherries if desired and serve.
