- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 orange

Peel, wash the yams and cook them in salted water for 30 minutes; drain, let cool, then slice. Season with salt and pepper. Place in a greased baking dish and drizzle with oil.

Wash the orange hot, slice it, and arrange the slices over the yam slices. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 20 minutes.
