Wraps with Bell Pepper and Radish Filling

Ingredients

  • 175 g whole wheat flour (or cornmeal)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 8 frisée lettuce leaves
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 bunch radishes
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • pepper to taste
  • kitchen twine

Instructions

    Mix the flour and 1 tablespoon of salt in a bowl. Slowly add 100 ml lukewarm water while stirring constantly until a soft dough forms that does not stick to your fingers. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.

    Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Wash, trim, and slice the bell peppers into thin strips. Wash, trim, and quarter the radishes.

    Divide the dough into eight equal pieces and roll each into a flat disc about 15 cm in diameter. Cook each disc in a non‑stick pan over medium heat for about 1 minute per side; press down if they puff up.

    Spread cream cheese on each disc, season with salt and pepper. Top with lettuce, bell pepper strips, and radish quarters, roll tightly, then cut in half. Tie the wraps together with kitchen twine.
