White Bread with Truffle

- 8 thin slices of white bread
- 200 g butter
- 80 g fresh black truffles
- Salt

On the day before, generously spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Brush the truffles thoroughly and cut them into slices. Top 4 slices with truffle slices and lightly salt. Place the remaining slices on top with the buttered side down. Wrap the sandwiches together in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 3 hours.

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Remove the wrap and place the sandwiches side by side on a baking tray, then put them on the middle rack of the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the bread slices are lightly toasted. Take out the finished sandwiches, cut into smaller bite-sized pieces if desired, and serve immediately.
