Ingredients
- 2 stalks leeks
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter
- 2 tsp salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- nutmeg
- 1.2 L meat broth (instant)
- 1 large can white beans (820 g)
- 2 small smoked pork sausages
- 3 tbsp dark sauce thickener
- 50 g whipping cream
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Instructions

Clean and wash the leeks, cut the white and light green parts into rings. Heat clarified butter in a pot and sauté the leek rings.

Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Slice the smoked pork sausages into rounds.

Add the broth, beans (with liquid) and sausage slices to the pot; simmer for about 5 minutes.

Stir the sauce thickener and whipping cream into the soup, bring to a brief boil, then season with salt, pepper and vinegar.

Serve the white bean stew with Mettenden hot.
