Ingredients

  • 200 g leaf lettuce (e.g., endive, radicchio, oakleaf, iceberg...)
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 aloe vera leaf (fillet from a ~5 cm long piece)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)
  • 1 tbsp chopped herbs

Instructions

    Wash the lettuce, tear into bite‑sized pieces, dry by spinning and cut smaller if desired.

    Peel the grapefruit with a sharp knife, remove segments, then slice fillets along the natural divisions.

    Finely chop the aloe vera fillet and combine it with the grapefruit fillets and lettuce on a plate.

    Whisk together vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper; slowly whisk in olive oil until emulsified. Taste, stir in herbs, and drizzle over the salad.
