Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 3 sheets gelatin
- 5 tbsp Irish whiskey cream liqueur
- 200 g whipping cream
- sponge cake layer with jam
- green candied cherries for garnish
- whipped cream for garnish
Instructions

Soak the gelatin in cold water.

Whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar over a hot water bath until thick and creamy for about 10 minutes. Then whisk in a cold water bath to chill. Squeeze out excess water from the gelatin and dissolve it. Stir in the liqueur, then fold both into the egg-sugar cream. Whip the cream stiff and fold it in.

Slice the sponge cake thinly and line a large dessert bowl with the slices. Pour the cream mixture into the center and chill for about 1 hour. Garnish with candied cherries and whipped cream before serving.
