Ingredients

  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g Soft Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 packets Vanilla Pudding Powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 g flour
  • 60 g finely ground walnuts
  • 0.5 packet Baking powder

  • 6 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 3 tbsp honey

Instructions

    Grease the Gugelhupf pan and dust with a little flour.

    Put all dough ingredients into a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. If the dough is too stiff, add 1-3 tbsp milk.

    Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe it into the cups using a round tip.

  4. 4.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 30 minutes. Do a toothpick test.

    Remove from the oven, let cool slightly and unmold.

  6. 6.

    Lightly toast the walnuts in a dry pan, add honey and caramelize briefly.

  7. 7.

    Spread the walnut mixture over the Gugelhupf and let it cool.

    Serve on plates garnished with spruce needles.
