Ingredients

  • 4 ripe Camembert (≈150 g)
  • 3 ripe apples
  • 300 g whole almond kernels (unshelled)
  • 4 tbsp floral honey
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 sprigs Mint

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) with upper and lower heat. Place the Camemberts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

    While the cheese bakes, wash the apples, quarter them, remove the core, and cut into wedges.

    Toast the almonds in a dry skillet without oil until fragrant. Add honey and apples, season with cinnamon, and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.

    Wash the mint leaves, shake off excess moisture, and pluck the leaves. Divide the freshly baked Camemberts onto four plates, top generously with the almond mixture, drizzle with honey, and arrange apple wedges on top. Garnish with mint leaves before serving.
