Ingredients

  • 4 red bell peppers
  • 80 g Walnuts
  • 1 slice of toast bread (crumbs removed)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • a splash lemon juice
  • Sea salt

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 230°C with top and bottom heat.

    Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove seeds, and place cut side down on a parchment-lined tray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until the skin turns black and blistered. Remove and cover with a damp cloth. Let cool, then peel off the skin.

    Combine the peppers, walnuts, toast, peeled garlic, and chopped chili in a blender and puree finely. Gradually add the oil while blending into a smooth dip. Season with honey, lemon juice, and sea salt.
