Ingredients

  • 100 g Soft Butter
  • 130 g sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 g grated dark chocolate
  • 2 packets chocolate pudding powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g flour
  • 80 g ground almonds
  • butter (for the pan)
  • 200 g cake glaze (2 packs)
  • 100 g candied almonds

Instructions

    Beat butter with sugar until creamy.

    Mix eggs, grated chocolate, salt, pudding powder, baking powder and flour, then fold into the butter mixture; stir to a smooth dough, then fold in ground almonds.

    Grease the venison tenderloin pan with butter and pour in the batter.

  4. 4.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes, then remove the pan from the oven and carefully transfer the cake onto a cooling rack, lay it on one side and let cool.

    Smooth the flattened cake side to create a flat surface for standing.

    Spread the cake glaze according to package instructions over the cake, then dot with candied almonds.
