Vegetable Wheat with Grilled Sausages

Ingredients
- 250 g fine wheat
- Salt
- 1 eggplant
- 1 Zucchini
- 2 yellow bell peppers
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 Shallot
- 1 Garlic clove
- olive oil
- 75 ml dry white wine
- pepper (ground)
- 16 small red bratwurst sausages

Cook the wheat according to package instructions in salted water.

Wash and clean the vegetables. Cut the eggplant and zucchini into bite‑size pieces. Halve the bell peppers, remove seeds and white membranes, then cut into small pieces. Quarter the tomatoes, deseed them, and cut into small pieces as well. Peel the shallot and garlic, then sauté in a pot with 2 tbsp hot oil until translucent. Add the vegetables except the tomatoes and brown briefly. Deglaze with wine, add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer gently for about 5 minutes.

Preheat the grill.

Brown the sausages all around on the hot grill.
