Vegetable Cream Soup for Kids

Ingredients
- 100 g alphabet pasta
- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1 small carrot
- 50 g celeriac (1 piece)
- 1 small cauliflower
- a handful of broccoli florets
- 1 tsp oil
- 600 ml Vegetable Broth
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 200 ml milk
- nutmeg
- Pepper
- ketchup

Wash and clean the vegetables. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes, peel and grate the carrot. Separate the cauliflower into florets and finely dice the celeriac. Sauté the vegetables in oil briefly, pour in the broth, cover and simmer for about 40 minutes. Blend the soup well, strain if desired, season with cream, nutmeg, and pepper, then add enough milk to achieve a thick creamy consistency.

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to package instructions, then drain into a colander. Spoon the soup onto plates, place the pasta on top of the soup with a tablespoon in the upper third of each plate. Cut a small corner from a ketchup packet and use it to spray eyes and mouth onto the soup for a playful touch.
