Ingredients

  • 400 g Strawberries
  • 4 tbsp strawberry syrup
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • vanilla aroma
  • 150 ml whipping cream
  • mint (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash, clean the strawberries and blend them with the syrup and half of the lemon juice until smooth. Pour into a shallow metal bowl and freeze for about 2 hours. After about 1 hour stir with a fork to loosen.

    For the cream whisk mascarpone with quark, remaining lemon juice, powdered sugar and vanilla aroma until smooth, then fold in stiffly whipped cream.

    Distribute onto glasses. Stir the frozen strawberry puree again with a fork and spread over the mousse.

    Serve garnished with mint.
